The appellant, Hall, sued the appellee, Ray, in the district court of Navarro county, Tex., the substance and effect of his allegations being, so far as is necessary to state, that about the 1st of February, 1910, he entered into a verbal contract of general partnership with appellee by which they were to engage in the purchase and sale of lands as an investment, for speculation, and upon commission for others; that at the dissolution of the alleged partnership the firm owned an undivided half interest in the Noble tract of 150 acres of land and the Watson tract of 450 acres, and that he…
