The complainants found their claim upon a deed! made in 1819, by B'enjamin G. Thornton, of certain lands and negroes to Wesley Adams, in trust for the benefit of Mary Hall Thornton,- wife of Benjamin G. Thornton, and her heirs. The deed, after directing the payment of certain debts and giving to Mrs. Thornton the power of disposing of the property to such uses and such persons as she might appoint, provides that “ if she…
