On February 24, 1982, Taunton Municipal Light Plant Commission (Taunton) commenced this cause of action in the Superior Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts pursuant to Mass.G.L. c. 251, § 12(a)(3). Taunton moved the Superior Court to vacate paragraph 1(a) Claim No. 9 of an arbitral award rendered by the American Arbitration Association in favor of Paul L. Geiringer & Associates (Geiringer).
