Order, Supreme Court, New York County, entered on February 8, 1973, which modified a prior order granting temporary alimony, unanimously affirmed, without costs and without disbursements. We must note that the interests of the parties are best served by a prompt trial rather than the numerous inconclusive *521applications and the delayed prosecution of the present appeal. We reiterate that appeals from awards of temporary alimony are not favored (Cohen v. Cohen, 32 A D 2d 754; Levene v. Levene, 41 A D 2d 530; Gostin v. Gostin, 41 A D 2d 606).
