Mabel Bathbun brought an action in assumpsit on an insurance policy issued by the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation, Limited, for the death of her husband, Dr. James Corbett Bathbun. The amount of the policy, under three different provisions contained therein, is $6,000. The policy contains a provision for double that amount if the injuries sustained are while the insured is a passenger in or on a public conveyance (including the platform, steps or running board thereof) or in a public cab provided by a common carrier for…
