On June 30, 1924; plaintiff caused a writ of attachment returnable to Orleans county court to be issued in his favor against defendant Ritchie, and on the same day caused such writ to be served by attaching as the property of Ritchie both real and personal property in the town of Greensboro by lodging a copy thereof, with the return of the officer who served the same indorsed thereon, in the office of the clerk of that town, and also by delivering a like copy of the writ and officer’s return to Ritchie.
