—Ruth Wilson Anderson died intestate in King county, Washington, in September, 1920, leaving an estate therein consisting of money and *26jewelry. The appellant, Charles R. Clark, a brother of Mrs. Anderson, was appointed administrator of her estate. After the appointment and qualification of the administrator, the respondent, Charle Johnson, presented a claim against the estate for one thousand dollars and for the jewelry, averring in support thereof that the sum of money was a balance due him from the sale of certain real property in which he had an interest, and that the jewelry was given him…
