This is a dispute between several insurers and an insured. The parties disagree about the interpretation of multiple insurance contracts and an indemnity clause in a vendor agreement. Wal-Mart and its insurer, National Union, brought this action for declaratory judgment , in the District Court for the Western District of Arkansas to determine their responsibility for an $11 million products-liability settlement.
