BEAR, J.

The plaintiffs, Anthony R. DelGobbo and Helen DelGobbo, appeal from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the defendants, the town of Watertown (town), and several of its employees and officials,1 in this action in which the plaintiffs sought a *630writ of mandamus. We conclude that the plaintiffs have faded to demonstrate that the court abused its discretion in denying their request for a writ of mandamus. Accordingly, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
