The present petition for a'writ of prohibition is another step in the legal battle between the “Wet” and the “Dry” forces in Ouachita County. To get the proper perspective it is well to list the various proceedings that have reached this Court in such battle in the past few years:(a) Prior to November 6,1962 Ouachita County was “wet.” At the G-eneral Election on November 6, 1962 there was a local option election in Ouachita County, and the result of that election was certified in favor of the “Drys.”(b) The “Wets” filed an election contest, which had the…
