Sharon Wise (Wise) appeals from the Huntingdon County Common Pleas Court's (trial court) February 10, 2017 order granting the Housing Authority of the County of Huntingdon's (HACH) Summary Judgment Motion (Motion) and dismissing Wise's Complaint. Wise raises two issues for this Court's review: (1) whether the trial court erred by holding that the real estate exception to what is commonly referred to as the Sovereign Immunity Act (Act) 1 did not apply to Wise's claim that HACH was negligent by failing to provide adequate outdoor lighting; and (2) whether there exists a…
