Sears, Roebuck & Co. v. Fair Employment Practices Commission

On July 17, 1974, plaintiffs, Illinois State Chamber of Commerce and Sears, Roebuck & Co. (Sears) filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of Sangamon County seeking declaratory and injunctive relief. Accompanying the complaint was a motion for a temporary restraining order (tir.o.).
