Appellant Billy Gale Niles was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, appellant entered a plea of guilty. Upon a recommendation by the State, the court deferred finding appellant guilty and placed appellant on probation for a period of seven years. Subsequent to being placed on probation, and while on probation, the State filed a motion to revoke appellant’s probation and to proceed to adjudication.
