This is an action of trespass on the case to recover damages for injuries alleged to have been negligently inflicted by the Virginia Railway and Power Company, the defendant, at the intersection of Avenue B (a traveled road, or street, in the village of Ocean View, in the county of Norfolk), with the right of way and track of the defendant. After the evidence of the parties was submitted, the defendant demurred to the evidence, and the jury rendered a verdict for the plaintiff in the sum of $4,500, subject to this demurrer.
