A suit was originally brought in the Court of Common Pleas of Mifflin county, by Foster and David Milliken, trading, &c. against John Brown, William Brown, jr. and John Watson, under the firm of John Brown §• Co., and a judgment obtained on the 4th of February, 1819, for five thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine dollars and ninety-six cents. On the 18th of March, 1819, the defendants gave bail absolute for the payment of the' money, in order to obtain stay of execution for one year, according to the act of assembly.
