American Airlines, Inc. (“American”) filed a motion for modification of this court’s Memorandum Decision and Order of July 12, 1989, 717 F.Supp. 1454, insofar as it applies to AAdvantage awards used to obtain foreign travel. After the parties had a chance to brief the issue, the court heard oral argument on December 27,1989. American was represented by Richard A. Rothman, Leroy S. Axland, and Andrew W. Buffmire.
