MEMORANDUM ON CROSS-MOTIONS FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

The Debtor, Mark Allen Rouse, commenced this adversary proceeding on April 25, 1997, with the filing of a Complaint seeking a determination that an obligation he owes to the Defendant, Mable I. Rouse, arising from a March 20, 1997 Order of the Chancery Court of Claiborne County, Tennessee, is not excepted from discharge pursuant to 11 U.S.C.A. § 523(a)(5) (West 1993 & Supp.1997).
