The petition for writ of habeas corpus, with a duly unauthenticated transcript of the record attached, shows that on February 14, 1923, an information was filed in the district court of Oklahoma county charging that the petitioner, Will Grant, in said county, on February 5, 1923, committed a crime which is designated in the information as robbery in the first degree. That on the trial the jury returned the following verdict:
“We, the jury drawn, impaneled, and sworn in the above-entitled cause, do upon our oaths find the defendant guilty as charged in the indictment, and assess his punishment…
