Defendant, Maurice James, was charged by information with the offense of aggravated kidnaping (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 10 — 2). Defendant was incarcerated for 118 days on this charge prior to pleading guilty and being sentenced to a 10-year term of imprisonment. In addition to the imprisonment, defendant was ordered to pay $25 to the Violent Crime Victims Assistance Fund, as provided in section 10 of the Violent Crime Victims Assistance Act (Ill. Rev.
