MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

O’MEARA, District Judge.

This matter is before the Court on petitioner Raul David’s pro se habeas corpus petition under 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The Court has concluded for the following reasons that the habeas petition must be denied.

I. Background

On April 19, 1996, a jury in Oakland County, Michigan convicted Petitioner of possession with intent to deliver at least 650 grams of cocaine, Mich.Comp.Laws § 333.7401(2)(a)(i), and conspiracy to deliver at least 650 grams of cocaine, Mich.
