Plaintiff sued for the sum of $1,781.10, with legal interest thereon from judicial demand, alleging that in the months of August and September, 1926, it bought from defendant 500 bales of cotton at prices #fixed at the time of purchase, defendant to be responsible in respect to the grade and staple of the said cotton according to its outturn in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, indemnifying plaintiff against any difference in this respect between the said cotton as billed out by defendant, and plaintiff indemnifying and making good to defendant any excess due the said defendant in this…
