NUGENT, Judge.

Defendant Robert Reyes appeals his conviction by a jury of second degree murder for the shooting of David Wayne Carlson, claiming that the trial court erred in allowing into evidence a hunting knife that had no connection to the defendant or to the alleged crime. Finding that point disposi-tive of this appeal, we reverse the conviction and remand for a new trial.
