Plaintiff alleges that she was discharged from her job because she did not go to church. Plaintiff advances claims under: 42 U.S.C. § 1983; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.; and the Kansas Act Against Discrimination (KAAD), K.S.A. 44-1001 et seq. The defendants in this case are the Office of the Secretary of State for the State of Kansas and Eric Rucker, the Assistant Secretary of State for the State of Kansas.
