I. INTRODUCTION

Thomas Busiello (“Busiello”) petitions this Court to issue a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. In his petition, Busiello asserts that various defects in his trial for first degree assault render his conviction contrary to various provi sions of the United States Constitution, and hence void.
