OPINION OF THE COURT

HAIGHT, Judge:

A military judge sitting as a general court-martial convicted appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of two specifications of aggravated assault, in violation of Article 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 928 [hereinafter UCMJ]. 1 The military judge sentenced appellant to a bad-eonduct discharge, confinement for 28 months, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to the grade of E-l. The convening authority approved the sentence as adjudged. 2
