This was a suit in equity, by appellees, against appellant and others, to enforce ,a lien in favor of the complainants, and against the railroad of the defendant railroad company,' for work done as sub-contractors, under the firm of A. M. Wing & Co., who had the contract with the railroad company for the construction of its road from Mount Olive, in Macoupin county, to Alhambra, in Madison county. The bill was filed in the Madison county circuit court on November 11, 1889, and sets up that complainants contracted with A. M.
