OPINION

BALDOCK, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiff Julie Ann Sanford brought this diversity action against Defendants Dr. John Shea and the John Shea Clinic (collectively “Defendant”) alleging medical malpractice. Defendant filed a motion for summary judgment, arguing Plaintiffs claim was time-barred under Tennessee’s one-year statute of limitations for malpractice actions. The district court granted Defendant’s motion.
