The city of Paris purchased of the ^Silabee Manufacturing Company” a steam fire engine, hose cart and hose, for six thousand six hundred and twenty-five dollars, paying one thousand dollars of the amount in a fire extinguisher, one thousand on'e hundred and twenty-five dollars in cash, furnished by the citizens of Paris, and for the remainder 'executed eighteen bonds, each for two hundred and fifty dollars, dated February 10, 1877, due ten years after date, with eight per -cent interest, payable annually.
