Appellants here urge that the constitutional principles enunciated in the Supreme Court’s reapportionment cases, beginning with Baker v. Carr, 369 U.S. 186, 82 S.Ct. 691, 7 L.Ed.2d 663 (1962) and extending through the cases decided during the October, 1970 Term, 1 should be projected by this court into the arena of national party politics.
