Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Harris, J.), entered November 2, 1992 in Albany County, which granted defendants’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
In January 1990 plaintiff, then age 49, was terminated from at-will employment as a mechanic with defendant Albany Medical Center Hospital (hereinafter the Hospital), based upon a report by defendant John Sweatman, his supervisor, that he had unauthorized possession of or had misappropriated Hospital property.
