1, 5 This was an action by plaintiff for the alleged wrongful killing ofjplaintiff’s intestate, J. E. Thornton, by the defendant, for damages under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. The cause was tried before his Honor, Judge Prince, and a jury, at the April term of the Court, 1913, for Abbeville countjL and resulted in a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for $8,500.
