This is an appeal by petitioner, James Long, from the denial of a petition for writ of habeas corpus by the circuit court of Jefferson County.

Petitioner had originally been charged in the circuit court of Jefferson County with the offense of burglary. On July 12, 1974, following negotiations petitioner pleaded guilty to one count of the charged offense and was sentenced to four years probation.
