Plaintiff, Robin A. Baker, appeals as of right from a September 21, 1993, order of the Wayne Circuit Court granting summary disposition for defendant, Arbor Drugs, Inc., pursuant to MCR 2.116(0(10). We reverse.

This case concerns the scope of a pharmacy’s duty to a customer. The decedent, Robert F. Baker, and plaintiff were married. Dr. Arthur Hewitt had prescribed the drug Parnate for the decedent’s depression after an attempted suicide in October 1989. Parnate is grouped in a class of drugs known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors and can cause severe complications if taken with certain foods…
