SCHWELB, Associate Judge:

In this action for legal malpractice, the trial judge granted the attorney’s motion for summary judgment on the grounds that the suit was barred by the three-year statute of limitations. See D.C.Code § 12-301(8) (1995). The client appeals, contending that the action was timely under the “discovery rule” and related equitable principles. We conclude that a genuine issue of material fact is presented as to whether, in the exercise of reasonable diligence, the client should have known or suspected at the relevant times that the attorney’s conduct was wrongful.…
