On August 22, 1936, Margaret Y. Corcoran filed suit in the circuit court of Cook county against Edwin L. Waugh, as executor and trustee under the last will and testament of James D. Corcoran, her deceased husband, and the remaining appellees, in which she asked that an instrument executed by her on November 11, 1918, purporting to release alimony and all rights of dower in Corcoran’s real estate, be set aside and declared void.
