It will be seen at a glance, from the statement' of the case, that plaintiff’s claim rests upon *417the supposed liability of defendant for alleged defamatory matter, contained in an affidavit of the latter, filed in resisting an application for a rule for security for costs, in a cause between strangers to the present action.
