This is a bill in equity brought in the Superior Court by way of appeal against the "acting superintendent of buildings and inspector of buildings” of Cambridge and the board of appeal of Cambridge, growing out of the alleged refusal of the "acting superintendent of buildings and inspector of buildings” to-grant the plaintiff’s “request for permission to subdivide” his property “so as to permit the *157separate sale of the portion of his premises comprising 92 Foster Street,” and out of action of the board of appeal alleged to constitute a “denial” of an alleged appeal by the plaintiff to the…
