COTE, District Judge:
Plaintiff M.H. Segan Limited Partnership (“Segan”) filed this action on January 26, 1995, alleging copyright infringement, fraudulent inducement, and breach of contract. Segan is a Massachusetts limited partnership in the business of inventing toys and other consumer products. Defendant Hasbro, Inc. (“Hasbro”), is a Rhode Island corporation and a well-known designer of consumer products, including toys. Jurisdiction is based on 28 U.S.C. §§ 1331, 1332 and 1338(a).
