Appellee, Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (the “bureau”), sent a notice of suspension dated August 9, 2000, bearing case No. CG503977, to appellant, Deborah L. Jubb. In response to the notice of suspension, Jubb served a notice of appeal on the bureau on August 22, 2000, and filed a copy of the notice with this court on the same date.
