We have before us for disposition a case of apparent first impression regarding the interpretation of various provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code of July 31, 1968, (act no. 247), art. I, sec. 101, 53 PS §10101, et seq., which became effective January 1, 1969, by virtue of section 102 thereof, 53 PS §10102.
