OPINION OF THE COURT

WERNER, Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, appellant was found guilty of wrongful possession and sale of marijuana, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934 (1976). He also pled guilty to and was convicted of assault and battery, in violation of Article 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 928 (1976). His sentence, which was approved by the convening authority, provides for a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for six months, forfeiture of $100.00 pay per month for six months, a fine of $1,500.00 and reduction to…
