Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of Supreme Court, Queens County (Hollie, J.), rendered February 29, 2012, convicting him of assault in the second degree (three counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contention, the grand jury proceeding did not fail to conform to the requirements of CPL *755article 190 to such a degree that the integrity thereof was impaired (see People v Aarons, 2 NY3d 547, 552 [2004]; People v Huston, 88 NY2d 400, 409 [1996]; People v Gervasi, 213 AD2d 420 [1995]).
