This is an appeal from an order of the Circuit Court of Pike County, directing John B. Horn, as administrator of the estate of Thomas Cochran, deceased, to sell certain real estate to pay debts.

Thomas Cochran died intestate June 18, 1876, leaving him surviving no child or children or descendants of any child or children, but leaving surviving his widow, Ethelinda Cochran, and certain collateral kindred. August 18, 1876, the appellant, John B. Horn, was appointed administrator of the estate of said deceased, by the County Court of Pike County, and entered upon his duties as such. Claims were…
