This case involves the question of title by adverse possession claimed to have been obtained through encroachment upon a public street of the city of Detroit.

Complainant, claiming a title in his landlord by prescription and a resulting right in himself as lessee to the peaceable possession, enjoyment, and use of a location occupied by him as a fruit-stand beyond the street line of a certain corner lot in the business dis*7trict of said city, filed his bill of complaint in. the circuit court of Wayne county in chancery, asking an injunction to restrain the municipal authorities from forcibly…
