Scott D. Kopstein was convicted by a jury, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Sey-bert, /.), of transporting and shipping child pornography to a federal agent posing as a twelve-year-old girl during an electronic conversation in a “chat room.” Kopstein did not deny that he possessed the images, but argued that he was entrapped into transporting and shipping them when the agent threatened to terminate the conversation (and Kopstein’s sexual excitement) if Kopstein did not comply…
