HOOK, Circuit Judge.
The question in this case is one of voidable preference under section 60b of the Bankruptcy Act. The appellant took a chattel mortgage upon the property of the bankrupt more than four months before, but did not file it for record in the office of the recorder of the proper county until within a few days of the commencement of the bankruptcy proceedings.
