On the 7th day of January, 1907, appellees purchased the N. W. % of the N. W. %, Sec. 14, T. 6 S. R. 10 W., in Jefferson County, Arkansas. They permitted the land to forfeit in 1912 for the nonpayment of the state and county taxes assessed against it in 1911, and at the delinquent tax sale, Thomas J. Collier, appellant, purchased the land on June 10, 1912, and procured a tax deed under said purchase on December 7, 1914.
