OPINION
BAKER, Chief Judge.
Appellant-defendant Kenneth Baldi appeals the trial court's denial of his petition for habeas corpus relief. Specifically, Bal-di argues that the trial court erroneously concluded that the Indiana Parole Board (Parole Board) had not "turned over" the sentence that was imposed for Aggravated Battery, 1 a class B felony. Baldi claims that the Parole Board discharged him from that sentence and, as a result, the trial court should have granted his motion for a writ of habeas corpus.
