This dispute is one of many related to the ongoing Bayou Corne sinkhole litigation in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. The specific issue in this particular appeal concerns an insurance policy exclusion for business activities, and a related incidental-business exception to the exclusion, found in a homeowners' policy that was issued to the owner of a small non-operating interest in an oil and gas well lease.
