SIMON, Judge.

Defendant, Maurice Kirksey, appeals his conviction of two counts of robbery first degree (§ 569.020 RSMo 1978) and two counts of armed criminal action (§ 571.015 RSMo 1978) pursuant to the jury’s verdict in the Circuit Court of St. Louis County. Defendant was sentenced as a persistent offender to concurrent terms of life imprisonment on the robbery counts and to concurrent terms of life imprisonment on the armed criminal action counts.
